Terms of Service of Menullo
This is an English translation provided for information. The legally binding version is the Slovak one: Všeobecné obchodné podmienky.
In short
- Menullo is a service for businesses (restaurants, bistros, canteens), not for consumers.
- A new restaurant gets 14 days of the Plus plan for free, with no payment card. After that, the account switches to the Free plan on its own unless a paid plan is chosen.
- Paid plans are paid in advance by card via Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time; the plan runs until the end of the paid period. Periods that have started are not refunded.
- The restaurant is responsible for its menu, prices and allergens. Menullo only helps with checking, and AI results must be reviewed before publishing.

1. Introduction
1.1These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the provision and use of the Menullo web application available at menullo.eu (the “Service”).
1.2The Service is provided by Ján Juhász – JeyJey, a sole trader with registered place of business at Záhradná 890/10, 059 21 Svit, Slovak Republic, business ID (IČO): 55293026, tax ID (DIČ): 1127101745, VAT ID (IČ DPH): SK1127101745, registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Poprad under No. 740-42251 (the “Provider”). Contact e-mail: info@menullo.eu.
1.3The Service is intended exclusively for businesses and legal entities, in particular operators of restaurants, bistros, canteens and other catering establishments, for the purposes of their business or activity. The Service is not intended for consumers. By registering, the Customer confirms that it uses the Service in the course of its business or the activity of a legal entity, and that the person creating the account is authorised to act on the Customer’s behalf.
1.4The contractual relationship between the Provider and the Customer (the “Contract”) is governed by these Terms and by Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code, as amended (the “Commercial Code”). The Contract is an innominate contract under Section 269(2) of the Commercial Code.

3. Registration and account
3.1The Customer registers with an e-mail address and a password and fills in basic details of the establishment. The Contract is concluded when registration is completed, during which the Customer agrees to these Terms.
3.2The Customer must provide true and up-to-date information and correct it in the Service without undue delay if it changes.
3.3The Customer protects its login details against misuse and is responsible for all actions taken through its Account, including actions of employees and other persons to whom it has given access. Any suspected misuse of the Account must be reported without undue delay to info@menullo.eu.
3.4The Contract is concluded in the Slovak language. The current Terms are published at menullo.eu/podmienky; the Provider keeps previous versions and will provide them to the Customer on request.
4. Free trial
4.1Every new restaurant receives 14 days of the Plus plan free of charge after registration. No payment card is required to start the Trial.
4.2The Trial may be used only once per establishment. The Provider may refuse a further Trial if it detects abuse, for example repeated registrations for the same establishment.
4.3If the Customer does not order a Subscription by the end of the Trial, the Account automatically switches to the Free plan. Nothing is charged automatically after the Trial. The Content remains saved; features not included in the Free plan stop being available.
5. Plans and prices
5.1The Service is provided in the following Plans:
| Feature | Free | Start | Plus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly menu, allergen and price check, guest web page with QR code, A4 print, image for Facebook and Instagram, ideas for new dishes | yes | yes | yes |
| Templates | 3 basic (Minimal, Modern, Elegant) | all 10 | all 10 |
| Guest web page languages | 1 (menu language) | 2 (menu language and English) | 12 |
| AI Credits per month (reading a photo or voice, AI dish ideas) | 5 | 40 | 150 |
| Menu on a TV screen | no | yes | yes |
| Small “Made with Menullo” label on Outputs | yes | no | no |
| Price | €0 | €9.90 a month or €79 a year | €19.90 a month or €159 a year |
5.2A yearly Subscription costs the same as eight months (four months free, a saving of about 33% compared with monthly payment).
5.3The Provider is not a VAT payer; it is registered for value added tax only under Section 7a of Slovak Act No. 222/2004 Coll. on Value Added Tax. Prices are final and no VAT is added. A Customer registered for VAT in another member state of the European Union shall notify the Provider of its VAT ID (when ordering or by e-mail) so that the invoice contains the details required for the reverse-charge mechanism; any tax due in the Customer’s member state is declared and paid by the Customer.
5.4AI Credits are renewed every month. Unused AI Credits do not carry over to the next month and cannot be exchanged for money. Once they are used up, the Customer can still enter menus manually or from My dishes.
5.5Features marked on the website or in the Service as “coming soon” (for example automatic posting to Facebook, Instagram and Google) are not part of any Plan until they are launched, and the Customer has no entitlement to them.
5.6The Service contains no advertising.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
6.1The Customer orders a Subscription in the Service by choosing a Plan and a period. The Subscription is paid in advance for the whole Subscription Period by payment card through the Stripe payment service (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland). The Provider has no access to full payment card details.
6.2The Subscription renews automatically for a further Subscription Period of the same length, and the price is charged to the stored card at the start of each period until the Customer cancels the Subscription.
6.3The Customer receives the invoice electronically by e-mail and agrees to electronic invoicing. Any fees charged by the Customer’s bank (for example for currency conversion) are borne by the Customer.
6.4If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If the price remains unpaid after repeated attempts, the Provider may end the Subscription and switch the Account to the Free plan.
6.5The Customer may cancel the Subscription at any time in the Stripe customer portal, which is linked from the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid Subscription Period; until then the Customer may use the Service within the scope of the Subscription. The Account then switches to the Free plan.
6.6As this is a service for businesses, the price for a Subscription Period that has started is not refunded, not even pro rata, unless these Terms or the law provide otherwise.
6.7The Customer may change the Plan in the Service or in the Stripe customer portal. When moving to a higher Plan or a longer period, the price difference is settled as shown before the change is confirmed. Moving to a lower Plan normally takes effect from the next Subscription Period.
7. Founding offer
7.1The first 50 restaurants that order the Plus plan at the Founding Price pay €9.90 a month or €99 a year for the Plus plan.
7.2The Founding Price applies permanently for as long as the Plus Subscription continues without interruption. While the Subscription continues without interruption, price changes under clause 8.1 do not apply to the Founding Price.
7.3The Founding Price ends if the Customer cancels the Subscription, if the Subscription ends because of non-payment, or if the Customer moves to another Plan. A Founding Price that has ended cannot be restored.
7.4The Founding Price is tied to the Customer’s Account and establishment and is not transferable.
7.5The number of free places shown on the website is for information only. Places are allocated in the order of successfully paid orders.
8. Changes to prices, the service and these terms
8.1The Provider may change Subscription prices. It will notify the Customer by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the first Subscription Period that starts after this notice period. If the Customer does not agree with the new price, it may cancel the Subscription under clause 6.5.
8.2The Free plan is provided free of charge. The Provider may change its scope (for example the number of templates, languages or AI Credits) or discontinue it; it will inform the Customer of any significant change in advance.
8.3The Provider may continuously develop, change and extend the Service. However, it will not substantially reduce the scope of a paid Plan during a paid Subscription Period.
8.4The Provider may change these Terms. It will announce the change by e-mail or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect. If the Customer does not agree with the change, it may terminate the Contract by deleting its Account before the change takes effect. If the Customer continues to use the Service after the change takes effect, it is deemed to have accepted the change. Changes required by law or for security reasons may take effect earlier.
9. Content and customer responsibility
9.1The Customer is responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of the Content and Outputs it publishes, in particular dish names, prices, portion weights and allergen information under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers and related legislation.
9.2The checks in the Service (the 14-allergen guard, checks of prices, a missing soup and repeated dishes) are an aid only. They do not replace the Customer’s own review and do not guarantee that the Content is accurate or complete.
9.3Results of artificial-intelligence features (reading a photo or voice, translations, dish ideas and suggested allergens) may contain errors. The Customer must review and correct them before publishing. Automatic translations are an aid for Guests; the menu text in the language in which the Customer entered it prevails.
9.4The Customer declares that it holds the rights to the Content it uploads to the Service (in particular its logo and photos) and that its use does not infringe the rights of third parties.
9.5The Customer grants the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the Content to the extent necessary to provide the Service (storage, processing, translation and publication of Outputs to Guests), for the term of the Contract and, to the extent strictly necessary, after it ends (for example in backups under clause 14.4).
9.6In the Free plan, Outputs carry a small “Made with Menullo” label. The Customer must not remove or cover it.
10. Acceptable use
In particular, the Customer must not:
- publish unlawful, misleading or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Service, circumvent the limits of Plans or AI Credits, or attempt to access other accounts;
- overload the Service by automated means, copy it, reverse-engineer it, or resell or provide it to third parties without the Provider’s consent;
- upload malicious code;
- use the Service for any purpose other than publishing the food offer of its own establishment.
10.2If the Customer breaches clause 10.1, the Provider may restrict or suspend access to the Service and remove the Content concerned. In the case of a serious or repeated breach, it may terminate the Contract with immediate effect; in that case the price paid is not refunded.
11. Availability
11.1The Provider makes reasonable efforts to keep the Service available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11.2The Provider carries out planned maintenance outside lunchtime where possible and, where possible, announces it in advance in the Service or by e-mail.
11.3The Service relies on third-party services (hosting, payments, artificial intelligence, e-mail). Features that depend on them may be temporarily unavailable.
11.4The Provider backs up data regularly. We recommend that the Customer also keeps its own copy of important Content (for example downloaded images or printed menus).
12. Liability
12.1The Provider is liable for damage caused by a breach of its obligations under the Contract in accordance with the Commercial Code and these Terms.
12.2The Provider is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete Content (including prices and allergens) published by the Customer, from artificial-intelligence results that the Customer did not review before publishing, or for damage caused by third parties, force majeure or temporary unavailability of the Service under Article 11.
12.3To the extent permitted by law, the Provider’s total liability for damage under the Contract is limited to the amount the Customer paid the Provider for the Service in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Given the nature and price of the Service, the parties consider this amount to be the maximum foreseeable damage within the meaning of Section 379 of the Commercial Code. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
12.4The Customer is liable to the Provider for damage caused by a breach of these Terms, in particular for third-party claims made in connection with the Customer’s Content.
13. Intellectual property
13.1The Service, its software, design, templates, background images and other elements are protected by intellectual property law and belong to the Provider or its licensors.
13.2For the term of the Contract, the Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the scope of its Plan.
13.3The Customer may use Outputs (for example the A4 print and social-media images) to promote its establishment, also after the Contract ends. It must not distribute or sell the templates or background images separately from the Outputs.
14. Term and account deletion
14.1The Contract is concluded for an indefinite period.
14.2The Customer may delete its Account at any time in the Service, where the Service offers this option, or ask for its deletion by e-mail to info@menullo.eu sent from the e-mail address registered in the Account. Deleting the Account also ends the Subscription and the Contract; the price paid is not refunded.
14.3The Provider may terminate the Contract without giving a reason with 30 days’ notice, starting on the day the notice is sent by e-mail. In that case it will refund the Customer the pro-rata price for the unused part of the paid Subscription Period. The right to terminate with immediate effect under clause 10.2 is not affected.
14.4After the Account is deleted, the Provider deletes the Content within 30 days; data in backups is deleted within a further 14 days at the latest. Data that the Provider must keep by law (in particular invoices and accounting records) is kept for the period required by law.
14.5Before deleting the Account, the Customer may request a copy of its Content in a common, machine-readable format.
15. Personal data
15.1The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The Provider processes personal data of the Customer and its users as a controller to the extent necessary to perform the Contract and to meet legal obligations.
16. Communication
16.1Notices under the Contract are delivered by e-mail: to the Customer at the e-mail address in the Account, to the Provider at info@menullo.eu. The Customer must keep the e-mail address in the Account up to date.
17. Governing law and disputes
17.1The Contract is governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
17.2The parties will first try to resolve disputes amicably. If they cannot agree, disputes are decided by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic. If the Customer has its registered office or place of business in another member state of the European Union, the parties agree, in accordance with Article 25 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, that the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction.
18. Final provisions
18.1The Slovak version of these Terms is legally binding. Translations into other languages, including this English translation, are for information only.
18.2If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. The invalid provision is replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its content and purpose.
18.3These Terms take effect on 3 November 2026.
